My name is Andie and I’m addicted to toast. Actually just bread in general.
And we are talking full blown addiction here.
None of this “one slice of toast with jam” for breakfast.
Oh no. I take carbaholic to a new level.
Confession time: I once went an entire weekend where all I ate was bagels and toast and mini wheats. ALL I ATE GUYS. Bagels for every meal. Toast and cereal for snacks. And I loved every second.
But back to the point. Why I started this blog…
I’ve always loved reading food blogs for inspiration and entertainment, especially when I was recovering from my eating disorder (more on this later). As a girl who has dreamed of being a writer since the age of 5, I figured it was about time to take my status from long-time blog stalker to actual blogger!
So this is my attempt at documenting my love of all things dough-y. All things carbs. Do I eat other things? Of course I do. But do I eat everything I bake? You betcha! I’m a single girl on a budget. You better believe none of that is going to waste.
My pictures aren’t going to win any photography awards and I’m not at the point of creating my own recipes from scratch yet. I’m just doing my thing, learning new techniques and ideas and basically just making a mess. It’s a fun mess though. A mess that has resulted in some delicious treats!
I have a long way to go to making The Well Bread Baker the blog I want it to be but I am undoubtedly having a blast developing it.
